Children from birth to preschool-ready who are not yet able to participate in Godly Play worship or any children who do not wish to attend Godly Play worship are welcome to join their families in the sanctuary during Sunday services.

Members of the congregation love to see little ones in the church, and we understand that children may make some ‘joyful’ noise during the service. However, if you or your child feel that you need to step out of the sanctuary at any point, St. Timothy’s has an activity room close-by where you will find a changing table, pack-and-play, a couch and rocking chair for nursing, and many books and toys.

The church also provides activity bags in the hallway that are filled with quiet toys for children to use during the service. Bags with white string tied to them are especially intended for small children who are not yet able to read. If you choose to use one, please be sure to return all items to the bag and place the bag back on the wall at the end of the service.

During coffee hour after church, there are special tables and chairs at which the children may sit and enjoy a treat. Adult supervision is always present, as well as tubs of toys that children may enjoy.
